Absolutely amazing! We recently visited Kitchenmatra in Wellington over the weekend, coming all the way from Auckland to visit family and friends, and it was an unforgettable experience. The moment we walked in, the warm welcome by friendly staff made us feel right at home.

The menu boasts a delightful array of authentic Indian dishes, and every bite was a testament to their culinary expertise. We tried different curry's and biryani, all items bursting with rich, aromatic flavors and perfectly balanced spices.

The service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff and cheff who were more than happy to make recommendations and ensure we had everything we needed. The food was prepared fresh and served promptly, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.

Kitchenmatra is a gem in Wellington, and we highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. We will definitely be returning on our next trip...

Saturday Breakfast Thali at Kitchen Manthra is the sure shot smart way to kickstart the weekend vibes.

Mega size combo of Idli, Vada, Bonda, Dosa and Upma with an astonishing price of $18 gives an exceptional feeling of relishing South Indian breakfast cuisine as well as keeps you fulfilled for much of the day.

Comes along with a perfect taste-texture combination of peanut chutney, tomato chutney and hot sambhar. The essence of authentic south Indian culinary has truly delighted me.

Pro Tip would be hitting Kitchen Mantra as early as possible because, I missed this deal the other weekend, as I went late at noon and eventually found that they ran out of complete breakfast inventory due to good demand.

Only con is they close on Sundays and Mondays. And their inventory often runs out quicker than expected. Maybe that's where they prioritize. Quality...

With just one day’s notice, Sudhakar took the time to understand our specific requirements—covering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, along with starters and desserts—and even customized items beyond the standard menu.

The food was delivered right on time, beautifully packed in hotpacks, ensuring everything stayed fresh and warm. Every dish was a hit—flavorful, well-prepared, and thoroughly enjoyed by all our guests. Each one easily scored a 5 out of 5.
