Trade School Kitchen — Restaurant in North Island

I would like to say I've had a good experience however they are very inconsistent with their coffee and food. I've been here 5 times now and the only reason I go here is there is nowhere closer to the pool complex. they often have 4 staff on (like today) and they couldn't cook anything. I asked for scrambled eggs which only take a few mins or you could even cheat and do them in a microwave in 3 mins. They only served basic counter food. I think management really needs to look at how this business is run. I very rarely write a bad review however this is a business that needs a shake up if it wants to survive. coffee is ok however the service is slow, inconsistent and while the staff are friendly it's all about being a proper cafe. sorry to everyone for writing this review but that's how I feel . The response from the owner below is not actually accurate as I've mentioned that I've been there 5 times before. The eggs were missing on 2 of the 5 times and on 1 other occasion I had to go and ask for my coffee twice as they had forgotten my order. Love this place. Staff are amazing. Coffee is out of this world. The place is clean and has a really nice aesthetic. I could sit and do work all day with how nice it feels here. This i mention the coffee? Its amazing. My favourite in wellington. The team really know their coffee.

Although i do have 1 feedback this place is still a 10 out of 5 stars. 😂 as my feedback below isnt really in the staffs control. Some times when i sit in the outdoor section which is really nice. Theres always some school kids or intoxicated homeless person just comes along and sits with me and talking to themselves or ask for money. Makes me really uncomfortable and this has happened multiple times now and I sometimes end up just having to get takeaway and go sit back at work. Just wanted to keep the staff aware this is happening. If its happening to me it may have happened to others. I go here once in a while as there opening hours conflict with my work schedule and on weekends they close early but oh my i wish they close abit later on weekends. Their coffee is probably top 2 in wellington. It is on point and never have i had a bad coffee. From the shot to the milk steaming the staff are super experienced and i could tell from the taste of the coffee.

The service is always awesome and the aesthetics is soooo nice to sit in to relax.
