Come rain or shine, there's always a queue at the most popular food truck in the market. The ladies that own the food truck are nice, too. Their chicken and beef kebabs are the best, so I've heard. Even our local police officers and gang members (I mean, club members) enjoy them. Check out the other stalls for some healthy options including vegetables. If you wander too far from the market square, beware of beggars around the corner. Over the years, the market piazza has reduced in size and it has become quieter but the locals that frequent the stalls are still around. Vehicles generally watch out for...

Love the people most importantly the food! Some of these food carts have had their families coming to run the stalls from when it first started down at the Porirua Train Station carpark back in the day! Kebab Brothers, probably my all time favourite, from when their parents used to run it, and the flavors always takes me back to when I was a child! The recipe to the sauces have never changed and it's still how I remember it! Also with all the other new food stalls, Indian kebabs and Keke pu'a food stalls! Love it all, and love my...

Love love love this place

Been going to Porirua markets since a young girl with dad early in the morning getting cook island donuts and pankeke and some of those famous kebabs those were the days it would be opened at 2am till 10am

Now

32 to and still one of my favorite markets in Wellington

Big white truck KEBABS are the BEST IN TOWN 💜❤️

The browns family caravan - Lamb buns 😋🤤

Thank you for all the memories

Was back in force for my token favourites actually made my mothers day weekend while over for rugby season...
