This is a nice spot for jumping / cliff diving!! Just drive up to the parking spot on the east side of the river, put your shorts, bikinis or wetsuits on and go back across the bridge. The bridge itself is roughly 7.5m ... I measured it, but the height of course varies depending on the water level. The jump spot is easy to find - close to the other side of the river - just look for the tapes on the railing for grip... That's where everyone jumps. Check depth if unsure! I did a couple of jumps there on a Saturday and from time to time local kids and others came by to jump as well. Don't get distracted by drivers crossing the bridge hitting their horn or calling out to you. Then I realised there are actually four really good ropeswings just 30m downstream! Read moreCame for the view when passing through Albert Town, parked the car near 4 Square Albert Town and walked over. Short 5-10 minutes walk, easy walk. This historical single lane bridge sits right in the middle of a mesmerizing landscape with the "blue" river and the mountain afar, making it picture perfect. Many may come here for a dive into the cooling river, as we too witness quite a few jumps. No facility here.
For those driving across the bridge, do drive slow and be patience, there may be foot traffic...
