Very grey, dismal, decrepit place when I arrived but later sun came out the scene changed completely. Much nicer. Huge area. NZMCA members can stay, $10 per night per van now 08/03/22. Shower and toilet proved. Bit grubby but do the job.. bring your jandels. Nice to watch horses training, except the dude in diesel small truck towing horse spewing fumes all over poor horse. bear.the.dog101 liked supervising the training.

Okay place to park up motorhome for a night or two in the summer weather. Not ideal for winter. Ground saturation is horrendous. Massive flooding after a couple of hours. $10 a night isn't expensive, but it isn't really as good as an NZMCA park, where you get better facilities for your 💲💸

Staying for a night and the person next door has backed up to within a metre of our door! As you can see we have nowhere to sit outside caravan and it’s rude ! Not friendly here has been in the past but not now ! Toilets are never clean but looked past that as have toilet.

We always stay here when we come to Timaru to see our family. There is a toilet, water and rubbish cllection so better than a lot of NZMCA camps here in the south. Not far to town and a dump station, plenty of room. Can be wet in places when there is rain but thats the same anywhere. 10.00 a night is awesome for us...
