I attended a four night Matariki retreat. Te Whenua provided stillness and contemplation time away from my everyday life, and beyond that I was blessed to have Jennys knowledge and insight to bolster my experience. Her gentle guidance and invitations to reflect on the past, the present and our future intentions was the spark I needed to move into my journey of healing. Te Whenua allowed me to return to a feeling of being nourished. Jenny shared beautiful plant based meals, offered us freedom to choose how we spent our time, and gave opportunities to connect with the body through yoga, meditation, massage and walks in nature. I left Te Whenua with more clarity of mind, and an intention for more connection, joy and wellbeing in my life.

If you: 1. love delicious homemade meals prepared fresh for every meal 2. need some space and time for yourself 3. like to recharge in nature I highly recommend Te Whenua. Jenny welcomes you into her gorgeous space and invites you to make yourself at home. No schedules, no to-do lists, no alarms or responsibilities... Just breathing in the fresh air and indulging in her luxurious plant-focused food.

Serene setting, top quality everything (linen sheets! beautifully appointed kitchen!), nourishing, flavourful food, and a host who sets the stage for you to find your way back to your senses and to yourself. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

I had the most wonderful experience at Te Whenua Retreat. Jenny was absolutely fabulous – warm, caring, and so genuine in the way she held space for everyone. I truly enjoyed our time together, from the deeply nourishing spiritual conversations to the fun and inspiring cooking classes. The meals we shared were not only delicious but also beautifully healthy and nourishing. What made the retreat even more special were the quiet moments of rest and restoration, balanced with energizing hikes in nature. And I can’t forget the hot tub – it was such a happy treat on those chilly nights This retreat was the perfect mix of connection, self-care, and inspiration. I left feeling grounded, restored, and so grateful for the experience. Highly...

So grateful to Te Whenua for providing the region with a place that welcomes those needing a pause and rest with a space that is supportive, warm and oh so beautiful and peaceful. I've been fortunate to take part in its monthly Quiet Day as well as one day retreats. Every time has been a delight and reset for the mind, body and soul. I only wish I had the opportunity on a more regular basis to reflect, rest, grow and connect! In particular, Jenny's Quiet Day is a perfect day of permission to do as your body and mind needs - quiet tranquility, comfortable lounge chairs and gorgeous grounds, optional guided meditation, and unbelievably nourishing and delicious food and teas prepared for you. Cannot...
