Beautiful view even on a rainy day, but on a very dodgy road. Not really a 'lookout', more a small space on the side of the road maybe enough room for 1 car... You can go down to the end and park, but there are signs that say $5 parking. (Might be someone's private land).

We really couldn’t find the “lookout” but if you go all the way down to the beach there is a maori lady charging you 5$ to prk on her land for the day or 50$ for a night (there is also the option of half a spot for 30$) we stayed there with a van for a night and payed 30$. Views and the spot is amazing, they have cold showers and toilets (bring your toilet paper as there is any) also a lot of recycling bins on the campsite. Cool people and quiet at night even if...
