eMobility Geiranger — Local services in Stranda

So! Much! Fun! My husband and I rented one of these for 3 hours and took it to the top of Dalsnibba. The people who run the operation are SUPER nice! There was some confusion about our booking after we booked it (they noticed that our cruise ship would not be in port the day I mistakenly put on the reservation), and they called us in CA from Norway to clarify instead of letting us flounder when we got there. Now, THAT'S exceptional customer service!

I was a bit concerned because I thought I'd feel claustrophobic in such a small vehicle. But not at all! Being able to open the windows provided great fresh air and I was so awestruck by the beauty around us that I didn't even notice the cozy seating. (My husband is 6'1" and I'm 5'7".)

There's plenty of pep and power and it's super easy to drive. We loved it so much we rented another one for another hour later that afternoon. Everywhere we went, people stopped to ask us about it.

This was great fun, and a great way to explore the lookouts at either end of the town. The cars are super tiny, there’s just enough room for 2 but it feels like you’re in a sardine can. Windows don’t close, so, be wary if it’s wet or windy. But the organisation and set up here is superb. They give you a quick rundown and the cars are super easy to drive. There’s a built in navigation system that takes you up the Eagles Road then back through the town, and up the other side. There’s no rush, you can do all this with plenty of time for walks and pictures in the 2 hours. They take walk ins, but if you book ahead you’ll be certain of getting your car, and won’t have to waste time doing all the paperwork - turn up, get your car, brief instructions and you’re off. We visited off the Rotterdam in May 2022. To rent the electric car was easy. the staff was incredibly helpful, especially at understanding my English.

The staff programmed the Garmin for multiple routes to take in the car. The car worked fine, no problems. However, I messed up with the car key, I called the staff and the issue i caused was rectified over the phone. Thank you sirs!
