More than 16 kilometers southeast of Panglao Island, Pamilacan Island is worth the wet trip for dolphin- and whaleshark-watching activities as well as snorkeling and diving sites. Today, more than 2,000 locals live here, savoring the serenity brought by their unornamented isle life. They look unbothered by the chaotic lifestyle from miles away. It’s best to visit when the waves are not crazy, so you can enjoy snorkeling and diving more.

This is a must-see place for all who like snorkling. Coral garden is breathtaking but please be aware you need to take a guide (250 psp/1 person/1 hour) to see the most beautiful part of the reef, and fins are not allowed. I also recommend having a lunch in Junior & Michael bar at the beach (on the left side from the ruins) - very tasty fish from a grill with a good price.

Insane the prices they charge! And no transparency around it. They charge the tourists P300 environmental fee for each spot. P300 for the coralgarden, P300 for the turtle spot and P300 for the fish sanctuary. That's P900 of environmental fee. Filipinos get charged the same. How would a family even afford this? Its ridicolous. Nowhere in the Philippines you can step foot anymore without being charged. I wish everyone involved in this corruption will get what they deserve. If they would at least use the money and clean up the trash, but no, instead litter...

The beach has so many trash, it’s very sad. The people who resides in the island can take the initiative, take responsibility in picking up the trash to make the beach clean and beautiful. There are even trash on the water😢

Of course the prices for food will be expensive that’s expected, nobody should complain about that! Transporting the food to that island will be expensive, that’s why food price is high. Please if you want your Pamilacan Island to have a straight excellent review, pick up all the trash 🙏 Tourist who comes...
