Very nice stay at a historic house by the lake , what an experience, felt like staying in some national trust place. House is full history and the area is very interesting history . The house setting is just stunning . Free access to park and waterfall was a bonus,park is just stunning what a gem . House came with access to garage with bikes and kayaks. Kayak on lake was fabulous. Stay here you wont regret it . We cycled round the lake . There is a active thermal area and another park on the opposite side of the lack to the house . The house is 18 century so dont expect super modern house, this is period house with period features, we loved it . Wifi was great and good tv channels . Super friendly hosts . Off road parking for cars. Host left us some local produce including bread , jam , milk which was a lovely touch and really appreciated.
