Kaluda Beach — Local services in Limanu

Best beach in Vama. 100% I am used to Mamaia only, and this is the closest you get to chill, good music, good food and more classy let's say. It has the Vama vibe, but a good combination if you want something more confortable while getting your perfect tan.

The food is really great. They have this amazing pudding for kids. 10/10 Pizza is really good, but they have only fancy pizzas, so don't expect a normal Diavola or something with full meat. Prices again are decent (around 40 lei for 1 pizza). 8/10

The service - the guys running around the beach to help with the sun beds are great, but the waiters that are assigned to the beach barely come around. So you have to go personally to the bar and ask them to come. 7/10 They accept cash and card, which is great. They bring the POS to the sun-bed. (plus you can bring water, food or whatever you want from outside the location - if you don't wanna choose just want they have on the menu)

My advice - to book you sun-beds ahead, the line is horrible if you just get there at 11-12 and expect to get something. But the PR lady is reaaaaly nice and tries to get you a good place. 10/10

BTW, I know sun-beds just in the front row next to the beach can look appealing, but they are the worst. The wind is blowing so strong you'll be cold all day :)) The back ones are better, and you can also hear the music, which is...

Not your typical Vama Veche beach. It looks, indeed, nice and exotic, but that's not what Vama is about. They have one of the highest (if not THE) highest charge/sunbed (eg. 50 Ron weekdays and 70 ron/weekend). The sunbeds/umbrellas are very close (too close), there is no space between people and it's very tight. The only thing keeping you from being insanely bothered by (loud) beach neighbours is the very loud music - house music.. This beach should be in Mamaia or any other place, even though it looks nice, the prices and the vibe are all what Vama is NOT about. Also, by the looks of it, I figured it should be adults only (at least they would've been exclusive)...
