On April 6th, 2024, Saturday at 12:40 pm, while in the cold pool, my left foot, near the big toe, became stuck in the suction hole at the pool's bottom near the steps. I initially felt pain but was unaware of the continuous bleeding until I exited the pool five minutes later. Spa staff members Uncle Chong and Rosman attempted to stop the bleeding with tissue paper and ice, but the bleeding persisted. Eventually, Rosman notified the management, and I was escorted to the spa lobby where several staff members in suits arrived with a first aid kit. Despite their efforts to wash and treat the wound, it continued to bleed profusely, leading them to simply bandage it up. A female staff member abruptly suggested that I leave without inquiring about seeking medical attention. Since it was a Saturday and nearing 1:00 pm when I departed, all clinics were closed, leaving me no choice but to visit a private hospital. There, I received treatment that included an injection, antibiotics, pain relievers, and dressing, totaling $520.16. Following this incident, I engaged in email correspondence with the spa director. Despite sending her video evidence of the uncovered, rusty hole that caused my injury during a subsequent visit to Willow Spa on April 19th, 2024, at 3:39 pm with a GoPro 10 underwater camera, the director asserted that the spa was not at fault for my injuries and declined to cover my medical expenses. I am deeply disappointed by the spa's response and feel the need for a more equitable resolution. Given my financial constraints, I am unable to pursue legal action and am hopeful for a fair outcome through social media. If you were in my position, how would you handle this situation, and do you believe my frustration and disappointment are justified?

It's a centrally located place and is part of the fair on hotel in bras basah. They have tennis courts. Swimming pool. Health club and spa. Which can be booked. You don't need membership.

Great spa facilities for an hour. Only the light in the sauna wasn't working. Staff were attentive and friendly when showing me the facilities.

Lacks the finesse and class of other top spas.

TLDR: if you're going to spend this amount of money there are other luxury spas that actual deliver a luxury experience.

Went for a couples massage. The staff that greeted us were friendly. But from there it is was all downhill.

Firstly the male spa facilities were under maintenance except that was not disclosed. So first disappointment.

Next when we started the treatment it is usual at luxury spas that there is a brief consultation on any preferences, including areas to focus or avoid, and choice of aromatherapy oils. All this was skipped and we went straight to the table.

The actual treatment was just okay. There was definitely a lack of care. For something described as a relaxing aromatherapy, there was lots of jabbing and prodding and not much actual massaging.

At the end, it all finished abruptly. We were told it was the end of the treatment. Usually you're then left for a couple of minutes to get ready (clothes and mentally) but we were bundled out and back to the changing rooms.

Then it was all over... No tea, no consultation at the end to ask how we were. Again, if you're paying a modest price at a modest venue that's expected. Paying this amount you have some expectation that they are attempting to deliver a more premium service.

Avoid if you're looking for luxury. Singapore has better to offer at this...

First of all, please, please, please……if you’re looking for a relaxing spa experience, your stress level will likely go up, not down at this place. Booked a couples massage - facilities are very dated, and the “tour” was just super weird. Most of the staff are not what you’d expect from a high end spa - simply not trained in hospitality. Around 10mins into my massage, I told the masseuse to stop and leave the room - she was very obviously not a trained, experienced masseuse. I didn’t want to disturb my partner’s massage so I decided to try taking a nap while I waited. Later another staff member entered and asked to take over from the first masseuse. She was much better, so I said “wow, you are a masseuse, the previous lady was definitely not”. Her reply was “I’m from the front desk”. In any case, she did a much better job. When we paid, they charged the full amount (which is an insane amount for this place…again, please don’t do this to yourself). Luckily I was able to apply a Visa Infinite discount, but even then it’s totally absurd. And they didn’t offer any further discount for the terrible treatment by masseuse #1. No one even asked me why I told her to stop and sent her out of the room. That...
