Exceptional service I received from several staff members of FairPrice Finest at Sengkang Grand Mall — particularly Winnie, Kwo Li, and one other male staff member (whose name I, unfortunately, did not get).
During my visit, I was hoping to purchase a promotional item that required buying two units to enjoy the offer, but there was only one left on the shelf. I approached a Chinese staff member who, despite having difficulty speaking English, was very eager to help. He made a genuine effort to understand what I was looking for and immediately went to the stockroom. I was truly impressed when I saw him asking everyone inside to assist in locating the item.
Shortly after, Winnie came to speak with me and also began searching through boxes to find the item. After waiting a considerable time, I assumed it was unavailable and decided to pay for my other groceries. But just as I was about to check out, Winnie came running to let me know that the item had been found. She kindly asked me to wait a bit longer, and then Kwo Li came rushing in with the unopened box, opened it right in front of me, and handed me exactly what I needed to complete the promotion.

On 3 May 2024, I realized that I've lost a $600 receipt dated back to 21 March 2024 which consists of NTUC vouchers bought for corporate usage. Without the receipt I will not be able to do my claims.
Made a phone call on 3 May 2024, 5.30pm and the lady on the phone told me to head down to the outlet and look for Umma (supervisor). Her tone was friendly and reassuring. I didn't get her name.
Upon arrival, I was attended to promptly with great professionalism to help resolve my issue and with great patience throughout the whole communication.
In usual cases, the service personnel will display frustration and unhappiness as such requests to pull out past receipts as it was a hassle and extra work for them. And the process will include the requestor having some conflicts with the service personnel.
But to my surprise, Umma and team serviced me with a smile throughout and did everything out of goodwill with no judgement and no unhappiness displayed. Everything was resolved within 10 minutes.
