Thank you for responding to my review; I appreciate that you care about customer experience. However, it’s clear there has been some internal miscommunication. Let me share what happened from my perspective.
On our first visit, my family of three, including my 3-year-old toddler, arrived and discussed which entry to purchase for our child. We planned to climb with our toddler, and your staff, aware of this, explained the beginner package. While we were deciding, a friend (a member of your gym) offered to use her free monthly guest invites for my partner and me, which your staff accepted. This allowed two of us to use guest passes, and we were informed at that moment that my toddler, under 5, could enter for free. And staff kindly pointed out where we can find climbing shoes. Naturally, we assumed this was part of your policy and were delighted, as climbing with our child has always been our plan.
On our second visit, a different staff member informed us that we needed to pay for our toddler. We explained our first experience, and she kindly allowed us to enter while checking internally. Before we left, she updated us, saying it was a "policy loophole." However, because our child behaved well and safely participated under our supervision, she mentioned that a formal policy for kids under 5 would soon be introduced. Once again, our toddler climbed for free.
Two weeks later, during our third visit, a new staff member confirmed there had been no policy update and allowed us to proceed as before. On our fourth visit, the original staff member from our first visit was on duty. We once again inquired about any policy changes, and he mentioned discussing it with the boss. He asked if our toddler would be climbing, and we confirmed yes. However, before we left that day, we were abruptly informed that we now needed to pay for our child. No prior warning, discussion, or explanation was provided, and when we requested to speak with the manager for clarification, our request was denied. Although the staff apologized, the sudden application of this policy felt unfair and dismissive.
From our perspective, your gym implemented a new policy mid-visit without providing us with any clarity, despite our repeated efforts to ask. This abrupt execution left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed as customers. It came across as poor communication and a lack of regard for our experience.
I hope you can address this issue to ensure clearer communication and a fairer experience for future families.
Not child friendly especially young ones. Will have unclear policy for weeks then whilst you are climbing. Then immediately shift the policy and charge you later in the session. Dispute caused my child to cry and nipped a budding...
Read moreFound this new place in a quiet neighborhood and thought it would be a nice place to try out climbing. Walked in on a quiet sat morning to check out the place and find out more.
Spent less than 3 mins inside, the attitude of the guy at the reception counter helped us make up our mind to not give the sport nor this company a try anymore. Maybe it's place target at experienced climbers, maybe we don't look like we will make good climbers, whatever it is..
I will only recommend this place for people who enjoy speaking to condescending, rude service staff or people who would enjoy going to the (soon to be here in SG) Karen...
Read moreThe routes are uniquely set and aesthetic, with opportunities for toe hooks and dynos at lower bar levels. Very cool and satisfying boulder problems. Barely any crowd during the weekday evening I went.
There’s an area beside the 2019 Moonboard for calisthenics and training. Many k.crimp holds to practice with as well, nice!
Clean facilities. Lockers can be used by anyone and can set your own pin. They have shower rooms and an area to wash your feet, but toilets are outside the gym.
Cost me $19 for a single multipass shared...
