i12 Katong Mall - Where Shopping Rewards Become Your Newest Test of Patience.
Imagine walking into a promising land of retail paradise, i12 Katong Mall, only to be greeted by the grim reaper of customer joy โ the infamous Klik rewards platform. Here in the heart of Katong, where one might hope for a seamless shopping spree, the Klik app turns the simple joy of earning rewards into a Herculean task.
Firstly, let us dive into the abyss of Klikโs user experience. Unlike its more forgiving counterparts like the Lendlease app, which courteously sifts through your receipts in the backend, Klik demands a scavenger hunt for every little detail. Prepare to play Sherlock with your own shopping receipts โ noting down amounts, store names, and the mystical reasons why your submission might still end up in the rejection pile.
My personal odyssey with Klik was no less than a Greek tragedy. Despite meticulous adherence to their eligibility criteria, my receipt was unceremoniously rejected. In pursuit of resolution, I ventured into the labyrinth of customer service feedback, where the Minotaurs of modern retail lurk. The responses were as helpful as a screen door on a submarine โ lacklustre and unapologetically detached.
Moreover, the ambiguity of rejection reasons on the app would confuse even the Oracle at Delphi. It seems the backend team juggles a few preset status options, picking whichever they feel fits best โ a gamble that leaves customers bewildered and frustrated. I will attach a screen capture of the experience I had using the app, which vividly illustrates how the status options provided did not help at all.
To the management of i12 Katong: if the aim is to cultivate loyalty and ensure repeated patronage, it is paramount to revamp this draconian rewards system. A platform that repels, rather than attracts, is a poor testament to an otherwise delightful shopping haven.
To my fellow shoppers, a word of advice: unless you possess the patience of a saint and the time to spar with indifferent service agents over minimal rewards like free parking or modest vouchers, you might want to reconsider your participation in the Klik saga. Otherwise, enjoy i12 Katong Mall for its retail offerings and culinary delights, and perhaps leave the rewards to other, more user-friendly malls.
In conclusion, while i12 Katong stands as a beacon of retail excellence, the Klik app serves as its Achilles' heel. One can only hope for a future where shopping rewards do not entail an epic battle with technology and customer service. Until then, shop on โ but perhaps keep your expectations for Klik as low as the...
ย ย ย Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding a very unpleasant and unsafe experience that my family and I had at your mall on Friday 4 Oct 2024 at around 10pm.
While we were using the escalator, it suddenly stopped halfway, which posed a serious safety risk, especially since I was with my children. This incident alone was alarming. However, what followed was even more distressing.
As we were leaving the mall, a security guard approached us at the entrance, loudly accusing my family of pressing the emergency stop button on the escalator, causing it to malfunction. Despite our attempts to explain that we had no involvement and were simply using the escalator like any other customer, the guard continued to shout at us, pointing fingers and causing a scene in front of other shoppers. This aggressive and accusatory behavior was not only embarrassing but entirely uncalled for. We even had to insist that the security check the CCTV footage, as we certainly did not press any buttons and would never endanger ourselves, especially while with young children.
We expect better from an establishment like i12 Katong and hope that you will address both the escalator malfunction and the conduct of your security staff to ensure this does not happen to...
