[If you are coming here only for beat saber, be aware that custom maps are no longer allowed to be downloaded on their systems. If you play beat saber regularly you can understand why this alone is an absolute deal breaker.] Edit: It is more them not able to as modders need time to re-release new mods for more updated versions. [Another thing that would be a deal breaker was misleading advertising. THE COSTS OF RENTAL ARE TWICE LISTED. Their poster indicates $12-15/pax/hour based on weekday vs weekend, but in reality it is double the cost per pax. Here is the math: The prices are supposedly $12/pax/hour, but each set can only be rented out to 2 people minimum, which you find out at the counter. This means that playing solo, you pay $24-30/pax/hour, which is misleading advertising based on the poster outside. This place either needs to edit the poster accordingly or take it down entirely.] Edit: Poster has since been removed. If playing in pairs of 2 people like they advise you to inside the actual shop, you are paying the listed price of $12-15/pax, but not per hour. If sharing evenly, that's a maximum of 30 min between yourself and your friend (Which still makes it $24-30/pax/hour but whatever). Even after that, bringing an odd number of people means being SOL with either pricing (Full price for that unlucky 5th person taking the third screen) or player management (The fifth person having to compete for VR time with the other four on 2 screens). This place still however has its redeeming points. 1. The pricing is much cheaper compared to other VR places, possibly even the cheapest. An extreme example is GV Funan's VR booths ($12/15 min/pax). 2. The variety of VR games available is high (>50 types), and the environment of the place is also conducive for playing with how quiet the place is. 3. This location is not strict with its timing on periods of lull. You can possibly squeeze in an extra 20-40 min overall without them caring if you rent a few hours midweek. I haven't been forcibly charged an extra hour for playing longer than intended yet, but dont take my word for it. 4. There are chilled drinks conveniently available for purchase through the cooler behind the counter for reasonable prices in case you forget to buy yours elsewhere ($1.50 for a bottle of Dasani). Edit: As a response to the owner reply, I had no qualms with the price of patronage having visited and used this places services multiple times already. I am however, disappointed at this misleading poster outside, which I noticed after a friend brought my attention to it. No matter how you explain this, you cannot possibly justify how the poster says one price but the website says another, which is why I had to give a warning for misleading advertisement. If the price is changed to be a direct representation I would give this place a 4-5* review. Edit 2: As the owner has kindly removed the poster I have shown below displaying misleading prices, I have edited my review to reflect how I would rate this place otherwise. I thank the owner for taking this feedback into consideraion.

My partner and I booked a 2 hour timeslot and received a free lifetime membership in return (note: 1hr bookings come with a membership fee). We were very impressed with the level of play and services offered by the team. At the start, we were given a very comprehensive tutorial and were very happy to be told that our 2hr timer only started after our tutorial was done. We were then left to play on our own but whenever we ran into issues, a staff would appear out of nowhere to our aid, we didn't even had to once go to the counter for help. We've played mainly multiplayer games (I'd say approx 30perc of the games allow for multiplayer) which were more than enough for us to blast through the 2 hours - shoutout goes to cook-out and beat sabar which we've thoroughly enjoyed. Downside: headgear had a bit of a smell. Also, there's no privacy per say as all play areas have an open concept but we were lucky enough to be given the back area. Nonetheless, a superb experience overall and a definite must try!

Beware! The price is not $12/15 to play VR for an hour, the price is $24/30. V-Room advertises the incorrect price to try and get business to their door, where they will then explain that it's two people for every one station at that price... VR is not an experience where two people can share. My actual experience while there was filled mostly with technical issues, and system reboots. My hour was spent constantly going back to the front desk - where every employee was always hanging out - and asking them to please QC my experience and make sure everything was functioning. I implore you - go somewhere else, anywhere else, this is one of the worst run VR places I've been to in the world.

  1. VR headset not thoroughly cleaned as it smells a bit like sweat. Would be happier if it smells like dettol instead. It should be disinfected even more thoroughly now due to the virus outbreak situation.

  2. No headphones, only loudspeakers. Might not be able to hear others clearly.

  3. Staff sound kinda impatient at times and lack of passion. Not very attentive to their guests when help was needed as they were chit-chatting among themselves.

  4. Played in the open and not in a room.

  5. One headset per pax is quite pricey ($30/hr/headset) so sharing is better if you have more than 2 pax though you won’t get to play together. Would be good if there’s a free flow drink bar like in Playnation or at least a free bottle of water, given that it’s quite expensive.

Some plus points:

  1. Wide varieties of games.

  2. Not too stringent on the duration. Staff gave a bit of extra...
