This will be the first and last time we will be ordering from Xin Yi Pin. First, while placing the order from food line, I specifically set 11:30am for food to be served, but the setup was done at 10:30am and food was ready at 11:00am. Not a major issue for this and my mistake for not properly checking the invoice they sent. Next, 2 guests informed us that the chicken in the signature curry chicken was undercooked. I called to inform the caterer and send the photos over to them via WhatsApp. I was then advised not touch the curry chicken anymore and they would refund me for this dish. No replacement will be made despite telling them that the rest of the dishes are very dry. No alternative solution was given except to just not touch it. Curry chicken is one of the main highlight, so how are we not going to serve it? In the end we brought the curry chicken back home to boil it on our own before bringing it back to the function room to serve our guests. Imagine all the rush and inconveniences. And now, Xin Yi pin says they will not refund us since we have decided to consume the chicken. To be fair, I’ll give my reviews on the other dishes, however the risks will be yours to take should you decide to go with them. All my guests says only the dessert and cupcakes and Ang ku Kuehs are nice. Main courses are lousy.

Carrots in vegetables is almost raw. Tempura prawn is soggy Ang Ku Kueh and cupcakes are delicious Beehoon and pineapple rice is nice. fried chicken wings is so-so cereal fish is so-so too. honeydew sago...

Order dinner buffet catering frm Xin Yi Pin to deliver between 6pm to 7pm for 3rd Oct 2026. we tried contacting the hotline, of cos they are off work. leaving us stranded until 7.15pm. since there was no sound no picture, we ordered pizzas n zichar cos we have 10kids n 2 pregnant women waiting for dinner.

Driver contacted us at 730pm and dinner was setup at 8pm. Worst of all, they are still so proud to state the food was prep before 6pm, stating ready to eat at 6pm! The food were cold, despite having warmers to heat up, after 30mins, food still not warmed. tats how bad n cold the food is. how to let kids and pregnant women eat?

Not only that, dessert was incorrect too and feathers in the chicken wings. i ordered via foodline and ask for a reply. we alr paid for pizzas and zichar, no need such cold food. texted and ask at least 3 times for a decent reply. Until today, no response from foodline cos Xin Yi Pin refused to reply Foodline.

Please do not order and trust this caterer. as u can read from other reviews, they are disorganized, do not follow the timings. even if early or late, have the courtesy to call and not leave people stranded and appear after we have alternatives.

We ordered their great fortune mini buffet for our family's CNY reunion dinner, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.

Our first order with them was back in 2022, and the food was actually pretty good that we even received compliments from our guests.

However this time round after making the payment, I didn’t receive any confirmation from them and had to call to confirm the order myself.

We requested for the food to arrive at 6pm but it only showed up around 6.30pm on the day itself. There was no confirmation message or delivery status update from the driver, and calling their office was pointless since it was closed on the weekend. I was so worried that the food wouldn’t show up at all.

As for the food, the golden salted egg prawns, smoked duck with black pepper, and yam paste were quite delicious, but the rest of the dishes were quite disappointing.

The spare pork ribs and Thai-style chicken were extremely tough, and the kai lan with mushrooms was bland.
