My favourite breakfast place to go when I stayed at woodlands previously. You may expect a long queue in the morning on weekends, the wait is a good 20-30 mins long but trust me it’s worth it. The fried bee Hoon is by far the tastiest economic fried bee Hoon I’ve tasted tho a little oily but it somehow enhanced the taste. I like how the fried bee Hoon doesn’t have the msg taste and yet so tasty. Prices are reasonable as well. Great variety of side dishes (otah, different type of hot dog, fried egg, popiah, variety of fishball, fish cake, fried chicken, two types of vegetables, Taiwanese sausage, luncheon meat, fried chicken, crispy vegetarian goose meat, hashbrown etc!) There are nasi lemak, fried noodle and sometimes fried kuey Teow as well. P/s : the sambal Chili is the bomb!

Nearest location allows the residents of Northoaks and Woodsvale Condo to call and walk over to collect the delicious Hawker dishes in minutes. Love the fish head curry. Freshly prepared healthy ingredients with tender loving caring skillful cooking and professional warm services. Spacious lounge clean tidy orderly relaxing atmosphere with views of MRT and breezy greenery away from busy cityscapes. Friendly fast attentive cosy comfy ambience for romantic intimates groups students tourists Expats and families.

My queen and her family brought me here for my first visit to celebrate my birthday! We had so much dishes and it was so satisfying and filling. We had spinach soup which was really sweet and tasty, pedai ikan bilis in sambal, mee goreng, fried fish, fried egg, salted egg chicken and fried long beans with salted fish. Superb meal On other occasions, we came to have our breakfast, opting for their beehoon, fried fritter, mock char siew and long beans. Their curry vegetable tops it off as a hearty breakfast 😋

Almost forgot about reviewing but the experience haunted me and my wife even during our honeymoon. Today I was reading the reviews and resonated with several other users who shared similar experience with me. Ordered from Zi Char stall for dinner the night before our honeymoon. First thing first, food was good, both in terms of taste and price, with most dishes 1-2 SGD cheaper than its counterpart beside Northoaks, so 5/5. We ordered 1 meat dish, 1 veg dish and 1 egg dish + 2 white rice takeaway. The queue was long so I expected a long wait. Asked the stuff and was told to wait 30 mins which I was perfectly ok. Waited 25 mins and I wanted to confirm that our order was being prepared so I went to confirm with the staff on the wait time, and to my shock she became very rude and scolded me in Chinese something along the line 'Haven't even 30 mins yet why you come and ask? You can see I have a lot of customers right so just go and wait, once your food is ready I will bring it over to you!' I was speechless at her attitude, this is definitely not the correct attitude in the f&b industry. Yes I admit your food was good and cheap but that doesn't give you the right to be rude to your customers. For me I rather spend 1-2 SGD extra and get good service instead of saving those few bucks but ended up with a...

Just encountered the Muslim stall lady very rude, today the Chinese Nasi Lemak was closed, which I know every Tuesday, so I want to get Muslim Nasi Lemak, then the lady said today the Chinese Stall open ! why don’t you go there? which the stall was closed! I was surprised that she mention that, then I asked can I buy foods here, she mention how many you want 10packets ? Obviously she don’t feel like selling. I felt offended out of no where. I just replied NO. Then just walk away.

I not sure what going on with her, if she don’t like to sell can closed.

Been getting the foods there for many years regardless Chinese or Muslim foods, there was time I also order buffet scale of foods from her.

But over the years her foods standards from excellent to poor, which I feel still ok to support her as and when, but after today, will not get her foods anymore. Due to her very...

This Zi Char store cheated on food not just 1 item but 2 items, give wrong item, and still behave arrogant lady boss. Terrible services.

Thank you for your respond and reply. Your reply was untrue, packs of lies. During the phone conversation, the lady raise the voice which is being recorded. After that also hang up the phone.

Don't forget in the first place you are the one in the wrong. In service line you should express sincerely apologetic and not Arrogant or even yaya payaya

One customer short-changed $2, 10 customers per day is total $20, 1 month is extra $600.

Ladies and gentlemen, BEWARE of this store. For those who Ta-Pao, ensure you double check the item you ordered. If not the store will find reasons and then the most they say they refund you lor, like their...
