Chua Eng Guan Restaurant — Restaurant in Singapore

Attended a lunch gathering on 28 Aug 22 at Hokkien Konghuay at Bukit Panjang.

Been wondering the restaurant behind this wonderful authentic Hokkien dishes I grew up enjoying.

I understand from an old timer sitting besides me that this restaurant has been serving the luncheon gathering at Hokkien Konghuay for well over twenty years.

Despite the name being Restaurant, Chua Eng Gaun doesn't really have a physical walk in premises for dine in. They almost only exclusively provide course lunches or dinner for club or birthday functions.

I guess there is a minimum order requirement as they need a big space to prepare the delicacy.

They don't pre cook but doing it on the spot. The boss is present at every job to ensure the high quality expected by the customer.

Very few service provide can survive without Google or Facebook.
