We found the organisation of the whole summer trip that Rory organised for us impeccable; everything worked just perfect and we had a wonderful experience! We particularly liked the variety in landscape and type of area of all the places we visited: Tsodilo Hills (and the mobile safari there) and Nxai Pan, less visited areas it seemed, and the more known area of the Okavango Delta, which was so beautiful and a 'must', on the other hand. The two camps from the Kwando company (Pom Pom Camp and Nxai Pan) were amazing, with the staff and the activities, and we loved the very personalised atmosphere, the complete immersion with nature and the 'non-wifi protocol'. The camp in Victoria Falls, Elephant Camp, was also wonderful, we thought. And to begin our trip, Maun Studios was a perfect relaxing bed and breakfast to rest after the long trip. In terms of the activities, apart from the safaris themselves and the watching of the wild animals, the visit to the two villages (one in Tsodilo and the other in Zimbabwe, near Victoria Falls) was highly interesting for all of us as well as the old paintings on the rocks of Tsodilo Hills. I think to all of us (me and my three children) the least appealing area was perhaps Chobe, because of the higher number of visitors in the safari outings and, although the lodge (Chobe Game Lodge) was very high standard, we found it more the kind of western hotel you would find in Europe or North America, so less 'special', in that respect. In conclusion, I am (we all are) very pleased with the choice of your travel agent to organise this trip. Thank you for your efforts and interest in putting up a very attractive programme for us. We will keep these wonderful memories of Botswana and Victoria Falls with us for many...
Read moreRory looked after every detail and handled every special request for our tour, with the greatest of care and professionalism. He chose 3 exceptional locations for the safari, starting on Chobe River at The Chobe Safari Lodge and then onto the Kalahari at Tau Pan and ending in the Okavango at Rra Dinari Camp. Each and every place was pure luxury and pampering by exceptional staff and trackers and guides. The food was plentiful and delicious. Each day ending in with a Sundowner out in the wild. The trip was in early March 2023 and the weather was perfect. It was the trip of a lifetime and it did not disappoint. I saw all of the Big 5 and more. Botswana is truly a beautiful country and the people were so friendly and welcoming. Don't hesitate to make the trip. Rory will definitely take good care of you and all your needs. A true gentleman who cares about getting it right for you and making it a...
Read moreMy Botswana Soul Safari connected my deepest being with the wild beauty of a peaceful and whole land. The combination of Sarah Devlinâs photography insights and the gentle and wise guidance of Robyn Sheldon brought me to a stillness where the connection to nature was palpable, real, and undeniable and the photos became part of the flow. Once I was in that peaceful stillness, beautiful animals, birds, and landscapes emerged, or perhaps it was because I could see and understand from the perspective that all is one and complete as is. All of us quickly bonded and supported one another, a bonus I wasnât expecting. I traveled home with that deep peace and stillness which brings a calmness to the madness on the surface of our lives. As Lao Tzu said, âNature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.â I would say, being one with the heartbeat of nature is our individual and...
