Bought some electrical conduit and other fittings. Firstly, the 20mm conduit is not 20mm. Anything else that is actually 20mm does not fit. So back I go to find a pipe that fits. Then after having to buy a 2-way junction, I have to buy the cover and screws separately. Is this usual? To make matters worse, On the one side the threaded bit of the junction is recessed so deep that I had to hunt for longer screws. It was already fitted and I was not going to remove it and take it back to be swapped out. As I did with the pipe. It is no use to try and ascertain via the Buco website whether there is any stock in the store. There is absolutely no relation between the website and the actual stock in the store. Everybody was very helpful but I imagine there is a hidden premium you pay for a slightly cheaper price when the goods are obviously inferior. The gentleman I approached for assistance was more concerned about the phone in customers and attending to their needs.... I happily have asked the other staff if they were otherwise available! I needed details of products I need for a couple of projects coming up and with actual product knowledge being my advantage; this guy really wasn't interested in hearing more about what I was planning and therefore being able to assist with good and accurate advice and guidance. I used to do business with Madeleine in Witbank Mpumalanga store, I guess she's one of the few loyal service providers within the company... If Witbank branch were closer I would love to maintain my services with her and pay the courier services for what I need and still continue with a very happy and healthy business relationship. No service whatsoever offered. Went to the guys in the back at the counters , looking for a product, they kept having their own confo about life and chicks. Eventually when they were done decided to lift their heads and look at me , I asked where I could find the product did not even lift their rearend to show me where and directed me to the wrong isle. Not the first time I buy here and the same horrid service, it WILL be the last time .. please note especially as a woman you WILL be discriminated apon as if you do not know anything about building supplies. My previous experiences I was laughed at and I promptly said just because I am a woman don't treat me as if I am unknowing. If the owner even reads this you need to start getting your hand on your business as PE is a small town and people are not speaking well...
