What a dissappointing experience. Looked at the dishes which looked devine and placed my take away order today. Take note: 1x cheese caramel & banana slice R35 1x baked cheese cake R45 1 x asparagus quiche R65 Total R149

I waited at least 15min for my order to arrive. Luckily I checked my order and noticed that only 2 slices of the baked cheese cake is there. I returned and told the waiter it's the wrong order. She apologized. So I waited another 5 minutes. So when my order came I only checked 2 of the 3 containers assuming they are all in order now. After all she already made one mistake. To my surprise I arrived home this afternoon just to notice I have no cheesecake but two pieces of the same dissappointing caramel tartlet... wonder what happened to the banana too. So now I paid R45 for something I did not get. On my way out I was called by another waiter saying to me I have forgotten my coffee I ordered. I said sorry I did not order coffee. Not sure if this is teething problems of a new restaurant but definitely should look into what is going on in your kitchen. Note: very dissappointing piece of...

Underwhelming service.

The service was the biggest disappointment for me. One has to place your order and pay upfront, which includes an option to pay a 10% tip. I always like to tip, but to be expected to pay it before getting the service is silly.

Since the service I received was so slow and poor, I now regret paying it upfront. Every time I needed assistance, there were no waiting staff to be found, which means I had to get up and go find help at the order counter every time. It wasn't particularly busy either. The food arrived at strange times; cooked food first, and pre-prepared muffin only much later ( after having to enquire at the order counter). What exactly is the customer tipping for when the customer does 80% of the work?

Won't be returning and recommend others to rather support the other amazing options available in PE like Cobblestone, Flavours, and Bannetons just...

I went here for the first time on Monday, and I got to say I had a wish. I have come here sooner! It is a wonderful place for a family outing, or if you want to bring your dog, look at books and plants, get some biltong, and then grab something sweet.

The cakes were cookies and cream and peppermint cheese cakes, which were absolutely divine, probably the best I've had in Port Elizabeth so far. I came here with a friend but did not have anything to est or drink, so I look forward to coming back and editing this to comment on such.

The reason for the 4 star is just because it took a bit of time for the cakes to arrive when it only needed to be plated, but it wasn't like I...

5/5 - Quaint coffee shop and book exchange with delicious reasonably priced food and coffee. In the quest to discover a bookstore that will cater for the family needs, we stumbled upon this lovely little book exchange with a coffee shop inside. The coffee was great and taste ever so smooth. The milk tart was one of the best I have enjoyed in A LONG time. The chicken and mince rotis were AMAZING. Prices very reasonable and service was very good. Will definitely be paying them another visit soon.
