Cafe Traumerei — Local services in Free State

I am not someone who ever complained about the service or the flood but I think the price for what you get is not always great.

I work close by and do like to have a nice lunch every once in a while. The breakfast buffet is a real treat and would come just for that but for anything else on the menu I won't pay that much money for.

The traumazini is usually my go to for a filling lunch in a busy schedule. But today I wat really unhappy with the dish that was served. Crumbed chiken and pineapple with peppedew "suposedly". Not worth R95 if you ask me. I think they could have at least put a little bit of procesed cheese on to give a flavor other than sweat chilli sauce.

I do try and support them when I can and tip the waiters every time I do order a take away even if they did not need to do much.

I will recommend maybe having some cake there and rather take lunch at one of the other...

We went to Traumerei yesterday the 28th of March, celebrating my aunts birthday.. The service was sooo good, we loved our waitress, she was great we just ddnt get her name but I must say we noticed how the manager was looking at us with disgust, we ddnt pay much attention as we were there to celebrate my aunt but that little manager was not cool he kept looking at us like we are there to steal or do the unspeakable yet we are paying customers, all in all the Manager was rude such a little boy,, also searching your stuff infront of customers is rude and disrespectful, we wil definitely comeback again because the Food, the soothing music, the atmosphere and the stuff specially our waiter, she was great but that manager better fix his attitude we are there to pay not dine for free, treat all your customers with the same respect, you wouldn't want me to bring up the...

Waiters are great and a lovely venue, but the quality control of food is non existent. I ordered an eggs Benedict and two bites in found a piece of dish rag string in-between my food, I sent it back and asked to get a new one. I should have stuck with the dish rag Benedict because what I got served next was quite honestly the worst plate of food I was ever served in my life, two RAW eggs floating in hollandaise sauce. I ordered sunny side up but i am not exaggerating when i say that the egg whites were translucent, the eggs were so raw that the hollandaise they put ontop slid off the eggs. As soon as I saw it I could see something was wrong, so I am not sure how that plate of food was ever allowed to leave the kitchen. I ended up leaving and having to go cook...
