A group of friends and I ended up at The Copper Clover after heading out to a favorite watering hole and to our eternal dismay found that it was closed, but seeing as we were still thirsty we headed into The Copper Clover, the reasoning at the time being that we like beer and seeing as this is a Irish establishment thy might have beer, so a safe choice.
We were seated by a sober blond man who politely announced that he would be our waiter leaving me slightly disillusioned in their claim that this would be an 'authentic Irish' experience, that is till half an hour to an hour later our waiter had not yet returned to take our order. I proceeded to convince myself that he got blind drunk and joined a folk band restoring my illusion. This lack of service eventually motivated the males in our pack to approach the bar and acquire some beverages, however this would proof to be a bigger gamble then standing next to a tree in a lightning storm, seeing as the Irish bar had run out of beer and clearly the will to live, luckily after 30 or so minutes a bewilderd leprechaun appeared (probably responding to the sheer amount of wishing) and gave us some mead not exactly what we orderd but close enough, I guess, and ran off with our bank card never to be seen again. As we finished off our beer it started to rain and seeking shelter we headed in, just to find that much like the promise of a nice Irish establishment the roof was leaking, I wish I could review the food as well but alas in order to do so I would first have to place an order, and as I mentioned my waiter was in a much much better place playing a washboard.
Wells deciding if I should give them one or two stars I came to realize that I would not run into The Copper Clover even if I were being chased by a swarm of weaponised African honey bees! ...

Every issue I mentioned before has been fully addressed. I’ve since visited Copper twice, and both times the service, quality, and friendliness were excellent. The place has such a great vibe, and the ambiance is spot-on.
Congratulations to the team for listening, improving, and creating such a wonderful experience. Copper is now officially one of my favourite spots

Previous review: Well done on the new revamp.
We decided to try Copper again after not visiting for quite some time due to exceptionally bad service in the past. Previously, there were always mistakes, problems, or extremely long waits just for a drink.
This weekend we visited again with big hopes, and I must say—the new place looks absolutely beautiful. However, the biggest issue remains: Copper is severely understaffed for the number of guests you have. While there are runners, it seems the waitresses rely on them to deliver orders correctly, but unfortunately, that’s not happening. Food and drinks arrive at the table in drips and drabs, and orders often come out completely wrong.
To give just two examples from our visit:
We ordered 3 cream sodas, 2 beers, 1 whiskey, still water, and a Coke Zero. What we received was 1 Fanta, 2 beers, 1 whiskey, still water, and a Coke Light.
We ordered 5 Cactus Jacks and instead received 5 oyster shots.
And these weren’t the only mistakes we experienced that evening.
So, while the revamp may have improved the look and feel of Copper, it unfortunately hasn’t improved the service. This is a serious issue that needs to be addressed—especially on busy days—if you want customers to return.
Sadly, I’m not sure if I’ll be visiting again...
Read moreOrdered a crumbled mushroom starter what a disappointment the coating was hard and flavorless, plus i got jalapeños mixed in between you could not even distinguish between them. I then ordered a Pepper Fillet and onion rings and only got 2 onion rings and the fillet was cold. My better half ordered the Fish parcel even worse than my experience. The dough was still raw and made a mass under the burnt crust and the fish could just as well been cardboard. Wait, cardboard has more falvour, then only thing I can say is the milkshakes were nice. I been there 3 times prior and all 3 times was not impressed, I will never go there again. But what I don't understand is that the place seems very busy, all the guests at our table were very disappointed and also said never again. The waitron clothes were also dirty and I table was never cleared during the visit we moved all the cutlery ourselves to an open table. Sorry COPPER CLOVER until you really get your act together you won't ever be...
