Mountainview Shopping Centre — Local services in Gauteng

I have rated this centre a 2 because of unsafe access and egress. The centre has a good mix of stores but there is little control of traffic flow in the front parking area as the arrows used to indicate one way flow have faded and not been re-painted. In addition there are a number of bad potholes in the parking area. The access from 14th Avenue is too close to the traffic light and is dangerous. Originally there was limited access but that has changed and traffic heading West bound can now turn right and into the centre - this is unsafe! Lovely shopping centee with Woolworths and Clicks as the anchor stores. Lovely restaurants such as MV Cafe, a Chinese and Sushi restaurant and Tiger's Milk upstairs. Plenty of parking, although it gets a little busy at times. There's more parking at the back of the shopping centre.

I have informed centre management several times over the last couple of years, regarding the state of the road surface in this centre. Everytime excuses are given and the problem does not get solved. One needs a high clearance vehicle to not cause damage to ones car. Pity the large tenants don't...
