A very pleasant surprise on the route of the Johannesburg City Sightseeing tour bus. Here, you can dive into Nelson Mandela's life and work by walking through the permanent exhibition and even visit his post presidential offices.
When we visited, there were two ongoing temporary exhibits that bery much contributed to our experience. The first one invited guests to explore the meaning of Mandela's legacy 10 years after his death, drawing inspiration from the dreams he whispered into the enamel mugs that were given at Robben Island. The second one explores the new banknotes and coins of the South African Rand, the later featuring an image of Nelskn Mandela for all denominations.
