I have been in the U.S. Army for over 20 years, and have been stationed at a multitude of bases. I have never seen a more disorganized, and poorly ran commissary. Ever. First and foremost, I’m they are constantly out of stock, which tells me they have a significant problem with stocking and ordering what they need to have on hand during various times of the year. I have been rudely engaged multiple times by workers who are likely ex-military and feel they can talk down to customers. The management does a great job when issues are brought to their attention… however it shouldn’t come to that. Now… with that being said… I was just charged 7.10 for ONE gallon of milk. They chalked it up to that it was labeled incorrectly, and refunded me…. Yet when I went back in the store, the rest of the milk was properly labeled to reflect $7.10. NOW… that is extremely over priced for ONE GALLON of milk. January 2022 Highlights show: U.S. simple average prices are: $3.82 per gallon for conventional whole milk, $3.78 per gallon for conventional reduced fat 2% milk, $4.26 per half gallon organic whole milk, and $4.26 per half gallon organic reduced fat 2% milk. Read moreThis commissary itself is very large and has almost everything you would need. However, it is constantly packed, I honestly think you shouldnt bring your 4 to 5 kids with you to go grocery shop. Its always packed and you cannont move down the aisles because apparently everyone in there is the most important person and have absolutely no manners. Basically the commissary itself is awesome. Service members wives and 3+ kids make it a horrible experience. And trust me I understand that you have to bring your children sometimes, even in the states if I had to bring the kids I wouldn't go, its chaos!! Then you add the local nationals and its 30x worse because they bring their extended family. Thankfully I only have 80 days left in Korea. Main point, the commissary is awesome and is large, its just...
Read moreWorst service ever . Always. Their machine had an issue and was stuck at the self checkout section. They wanted us to just stand there and wait for the machine to work again …. We stood there for 10 min and they continue to tell us to stand around and wait. The machine was not responding obviously. Nobody said hey let’s go to another register and I’ll ring your stuff up again. When I asked about it and suggested it i got this nasty look and this lady told me to do it myself if I want to. What?! What kind of customer service is this? Is it because I’m on a military base? Because if so that’s messed up cause people here serve the country and their family is here shopping...
