Hwasun Golden Sand Beach — Local services in Seogwipo-si

Hwasun Golden Sand Beach is a nice beach without a lot of rocks to contend with. It's also sheltered from heavier waves by the sea wall that turns it into a harbor of sorts. Nice picnic areas and some good camping spots too. We like it because it's not prone to issues with currents that could be a danger to our kids. Hwasun Golden Sand Beach is surrounded by beautiful nature. It is close to Sanbangsan Mountain and the Yongmeori Coastline, and the islands of Hyeongjedo, Marado, and Gapado are off the coast to the southwest. Visited at the end of Olle 9. There 8s nothing special about this beach. It is pleasant enough. There were people camping at the upper edge. I saw one cafe that may be worth checking out next time.
