Caletón Blanco

Maybe we got there with the wrong tide (high and low tides change a lot how rhe beaches of the canary islands look) but we didn't like the beach at all. It was slightly smelly and it is full of tiny insects going around the sand. The place itself is nice to see as it is a bit different than other sand or rock beaches. Parking is big but can be also easily full. I would not recomment it over visiting other places of the island if you have...

🙋💯El caletón blanco es una playa muy bonita que está en el norte de la isla de Lanzarote. El color que tiene sus aguas es espectacular. Ademas al estar rodeada por diferentes estructuras volcánicas no tiene oleaje lo que hace que esté simpre en calma. Hay un aparcamiento no vigilado muy cerca, es bastante grande, y en caso qe no haya sitio se puede aparcar en los laterales de acceso al mismo. Debido a la poca profundidad del agua es ideal para familias con niños. Es una playa única qe se ha creado de forma natural con piedras volcánicas. Se aconseja llevar zapatillas de agua. por qe en el agua hay algunas rocas y para pasear por la zona son imprescindibles. En las rocas que hay alrededor hay un montón de cangrejos y en el agua puedes ver muchos peces. Cuanto más te alejas a la arena, puedes notar las corrientes marinas más frías, pero sin peligro alguno. Hay que asegurarse de ir cuando la marea esté alta para que se pueda observar todo su hermosura. La encontrarás de camino al pueblo de Orzala
