What I liked most about Marina, Martin and the whole team at Buceo Norte was their kindness! They all are pleasant, welcoming and importantly encouraging. This I guess makes a lot of difference to first time divers like me. The actual diving session preluded with a theory class and a Question-Answer session. What was amazing later was to be able to see for real in the ocean the fish that we had identified in pictures... :) And as an icing on the cake, after the session, Marina & Martin even dropped me to the village I was staying!

I am writing a review halfway through the open water course, because I feel like I need to state just how happy we are with the care and attention we have been receiving this far. Marina, who is the co-owner of the school and, very fortunately, our instructor is just perfect. We always feel super safe, taken care of and we have by now learned that our well-being through the experience is at the utmost importance to all the lovely humans working here. There is no stress and no pressure - we are made to feel like we have the all the time and patience from their end until we get it right. Which we sometimes do :) And I’m very grateful. Such an amazing experience! The people of Buceo Norte are so kind and their passion for diving and the ocean life is contagious! My daughter and I had a try-dive (we never have dived before) and they really made us feel so comfortable so we could fully enjoy the dive! Very good briefing before (serious but also relaxed) so we knew what to expect about the diving and the ocean life- which is truly beautiful!
