I regret to write that my recent and previous dealings with the store have not been satisfactory at all. Previously, I had bought a Bluetooth speaker which kept dropping signal and had connectivity issues. I returned it to the store after four days, only to be told that the product needed to be returned to the manufacturer for repair. Consequently, I would have to wait and pay for the freight charges. This should have been a straightforward swap for another product, not a warranty hassle resulting in a month-long wait. Unable to wait, I ended up buying another one on Amazon. Last week, I purchased a Samsung TV from the store. The salesperson seemingly reminded me that they were doing me a huge favour by selling me this gorgeous TV. Then the attendant attempted to sell me an additional warranty covering screen damage, which I politely declined. I suggested that if the screen were to encounter issues such as pixel errors, I would be seeking warranty repairs. To my surprise, she replied that the warranty did not cover the screen. Considering that the TV primarily consists of the screen, the purpose of the warranty became as clear as mud. Upon receiving the TV, I noticed that the carton appeared damaged, showing signs of having been opened and resealed with cello tape and Media Markt plastic straps. When I questioned the storage personnel, the response was a firm denial, claiming it was new….”no no…es nuevo” Took the product home and fortunately, I had made a video before opening the carton, documenting its damaged state. I feared that any unseen damage could affect the screen. The attached photos clearly showed the condition of the packaging, indicating that it was likely a second-hand or returned product. Upon opening, my fury grew as I discovered physical damage to the screen and broken styrofoam. I promptly repacked everything to return to the store. Initially, the store staff suggested that a straightforward exchange wouldn't be possible since I had opened the packaging only an hour after my purchase. I argued that it was necessary to determine if I had been given a second hand product. Luckily, I had the video evidence to support my claim, or else I would have been going in circles. Despite this, all store personnel insisted that it was new packaging, a blatant and obvious lie. Furthermore, I had to endure over two hours in the store, in addition to travel time, to resolve the issue. Eventually, it was agreed that I would receive the new TV I had paid for. Two days later, a new TV arrived, which I collected from the store. To my relief, there was no cello tape or Media Markt plastic straps, (factory sealed and strapped) carton was undamaged - product was perfect as expected out of the box. This was again a horrible experience dealing with Media Markt Pamplona. Store purposely sold me a second hand or damaged returned product and put me through hours of headache and time-wasting for no obvious reason. While I firmly believe in supporting local economies and retaining jobs, even at a slightly higher price tag, I will not be returning back to this store.

You will get a better Media Markt service online and by calling the customer service hotline in Barcelona. It is an outstanding service! They are only interested in customer satisfaction. I do my research first, on what ever electrical goods I need and then I go straight to the Media Markt webpage and shop online. Now……I don’t recommend the Pamplona store. I was personally accused by the customer service representative of the Pamplona store, of damaging my own tv, even though I had purchased the top level insurance policy and after I purchased 3 tv’s and a washing machine, within 3 weeks. I have never been so insulted and humiliated by a shop...
