I used to hate it primarily because of their signature layout, with clothes and hardware tools smack in the middle of the aisles. It's quite disconcerting to see underwear beside frozen turkey, for example. But, one gets desensitised I suppose. They have some good stuff at good prices such as unsalted nuts, soy milk with no salt added, fresh-looking vegetables, duck, which isn't seen in many places, and even goose! Updated: 16 Feb 2022: Their bio section keeps on improving and they have tricolour quinoa; however, they stock very little quinoa and are often not on the shelf. 11 May 2022: Several months ago, they closed for several days for "renovation" purposes. All they did, basically, was to move their products around. For the worse. It's awful. Add to that the fact that many products aren't on the shelf, it's extremely off-putting.

Read moreThere is usually a great selection of food but the fruit and vegetables are almost never fresh. I also don't like the attitude of the cashiers. Every time I go there they seem to be annoyed and I feel like I'm interrupting them. Once I was there a few days after a big surgery. I was in full leg cast, on two crutches and had a small shopping cart full of groceries. I wasn't allowed to take the cart to the car park so I had to ask a complete stranger to carry my bags. Today I only had one crutch and when I was walking by the cashier with the empty cart, he almost yelled at me, telling me I couldn't take the cart in front of the register and had to ask others in the line to move so I could stack it on top of the others, at least 150 cm high.
