After traveling all the way from Brisbane, Australia, we just knew we had to taste the local churros in Mallorca, and this place did not disappoint! It was a culinary journey that we will remember for a lifetime.

From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped by the enticing aroma of freshly made churros. But the real star of the show was the generous portions served up by the friendly staff. Back home in Australia, we're no strangers to good food, but the size of the churros here left us both surprised and delighted.

And then there was the homemade dipping chocolate. Oh, the chocolate! It was a revelation, perfectly balanced between sweet and bitter, with a rich, velvety texture that clung lovingly to the churros. Every bite was a delightful crunch of churros followed by the smooth decadence of the chocolate. It was, in a word, sublime.

In the end, we left with our stomachs full and our hearts content. If you're ever in Mallorca and craving churros, this is the place to go. And if you're not craving churros, go anyway. It's that good.

Die wirklich besten Churros auf Mallorca oder vielleicht überhaupt?!

Wir sind vom Flughafen in Palma direkt morgens zu diesem Laden gefahren. Er macht einen total unscheinbaren Eindruck, doch sobald man den Laden betritt bekommt man das Gefühl von einheimischer Kompetenz. Man riecht die Churros, die gerade frisch für die Gäste zubereitet werden und weiter hinten im Laden riecht es so, als ob irgendwo ein großer Topf voll heißer Schokolade kocht.

Das ist auch so ziemlich alles, was in dem Laden passiert neben einheimischen Radlern & Rentnern, die sich hier blicken lassen und im sehr familiären Umfeld frühstücken.

Als jemand der schon sehr viele Churros gegessen hat, bevorzuge ich eine sehr bestimmte Art Churros zu essen: mit Zimt-Zucker, Vanilleeis, Sahne & Schokosoße.

Hier im Laden gibt es die Churros aber nur so, wie die Spanier sie essen: Schlicht mit heißer Schokolade! Und das ist auch gut so! Es sind die vermutlich besten Churros die ich je hatte. Der Teig außen schön crunchy und innen so super weich & Luftig ähnlich wie bei einem guten Buttercroissant. Einfach ein Genuss! Geschmacklich sind sie eher mild, aber gerade süß genug, sodass sie perfekt mit der heißen Schokolade abgerundet werden!

Achja: die Preise sind der Wahnsinn. Die Churros für 2P haben nen großen Teller komplett ausgefüllt, wären sie nicht die oben beschriebenen Churros, hätten wir die Portion niemals geschafft. Und das ganze für 3€!!! Ich glaube die heiße Schokolade hat nochmal 1-2€ Aufpreis gekostet aber so what… Und sowohl der Cappucino als auch der Cortado waren sehr lecker und ebenso günstig. Sind mit all dem irgendwo bei 7-8€ gewesen.

Beim nächsten Abstecher nach Manacor schauen wir auf jeden Fall wieder vorbei. Absolut empfehlenswert, für jeden der auf Mallorca...

I always look for a local churros place on my visits to Spain. El rincón definitely hit the spot. Bustling with locals I knew it would be delicious. The churros is made to order with 3 different sizes. The price is very affordable for the massive portions! They have plate sizes out to help you decide which serving size. The grandma associated on their t shirts and board is too cool! If you happen to be nearby I would definitely recommend giving them a visit. If only they were delivery proof!
