This should be an outstanding course, but it has significant problems.
The course is unique and should be great fun to play. It has a huge degree of variability from hole to hole and stunning views from everywhere on the course.
We played eight rounds, and if your tee time is before 9 a.m., the round is about 4 hours. But the other rounds varied around 5 hours, with one being just under 6 hours. We only finished before dark because so many in front of us gave up.
Secondly, the condition of the course is poor. The greens were acceptable and challenging, being reasonably quick and having some difficult undulations. They were very easy to misread.

Read moreBack again this year (2024) and have been playing for six weeks. Unfortunately, the greens have been difficult for the past three weeks due to being aerated and heavily sanded. The fairways and bunkers are in the best condition I've ever seen them. Due to the hotel being closed, we've virtually had the course to ourselves.
