Club Laurel — Restaurant in San Sebastián de la Gomera

I had an amazing experience here. we didn't stay on site but went to dinner in there Trattoria restaurant with my family and my partner to celebrate my birthday as it had been recommended to us and WE WERE NOT DISAPPIONED. I was impress from the moment I sat down. The service was amazing from the start, our wait Kai was amazing, he was friendly, chatty and made us feel so welcome, the food and drinks were also of very good quality and my family especially are hard to please, two of us eat the evening set menu consisting of 5 courses each was wonderful. two of us eat of the main menu, my partner comment that his pizza was the best he ever had. The meat was cooked perfectly as asked for when ordered and was so tender. Everyone enjoyed there food and each waiter wished me happy birthday and i had candles to blow out on my desert and this was such a nice touch, plus as we were leaving they gave me a little gift that was so sweet and i really appreciated. We love Club Laurel, and have frequented it often over the last two years, especially when we have had work to do in Playa Santiago. The food is always fresh and deliciously prepared, the service is attentive and pleasant, and the atmosphere is great. Lunch on weekdays is quiet, service is at a great pace and the restaurant is great to cool down from the heavy sun. We had soup to start, which was enormous, and we got bored with it and couldn't finish. Husband had the lasagne which was meaty and ok. I had sirloin steak, very nice, too many potatoes. Other diners were coming in for pizza which is not too large and slightly cheaper than elsewhere. Had we been staying longer, we also might have come back to try this. Online booking for a table.
