Fernando is an excellent climbing-teacher! This year two friends who were visiting us at Gran Canaria took a re-freshing course (during two days) with him. Afterwards they were able to climb with us in the mountains. They learned all important rules to start climbing outside at the wall. It turned out that Fernando was really good in explaining everything (safety rules, orientation, climbing technic,...etcetera). He spoke english as well what was very helpfull for our friends. Because they did not speak spanish. Fernando knows the area very well and showed them the closest and best climbing spots next to our house in the mountains of Gran Canaria. We met Fernando personally at one of the course days to say hello and besides all his experience he is a very nice person we liked immediately (he even lend us spontanously a climbing belt during 2 weeks for very little money.)
