Místo, kde kdysi bývalo Vikingské obchodní středisko, které obchodovalo s městy po Evropě, Orientem a možná i dál. Bývalo na tomto ostrově v jezeře Mälaren. Můžete se sem plavit ze Stockholmu. Jsou zde prohlídky ostrova s průvodcem v Angličtině a Švédštině. Pokud alespoň trochu ovládáte jeden z těchcto jazyků, tak vřele doporučuji, alespoň teda pani se kterou jsem to absolvoval já byla úžasná a dozvěděli jsme se mnoho. Takže pokud se zajímáte o historii a Vikingy, tak směle vyrazte sem neuděláte chybu.

Guiden var bra och berättade på ett intressant sätt. Fin utsikt! Själva vikingastaden från 800-talet finns dock inte kvar men guiden pekade ut där den hade varit. Dom har byggt en ny vikingastad en bit ifrån.

En mycket vacker plats att besöka. Statyn står högt upp och visar upp sig för den tid den representerar. Utsikten är fantastisk när man ser Mälaren nedanför och de öar som finns runt omkring. Det jordbruk som finns på ön och se kyrkan som är placerad där som ett minne av hur Sverige skulle...
