Might seem gimmicky but the food and service is stellar. Decent selection of local craft beers as well! Sadly there is no overnight lodging available on the island unless you have access to a private boat, because at that point the tourist trap feel dissapears completely, a magically serene calm settles over the restaurant/island and you can enjoy the sunset on their terrace overlooking the great lake mälaren. Out of 4 options, only 1 was vegetarian, and both the dishes we had were stale and flavourless. The apple cake was dry, the beetroot patties were dull, and the meatballs required extensive seasoning.
The staff were well-meaning but seemingly clueless, and did not seem to know that much about their own menu.
