5 big cinema rooms, with comfortable chairs and big screens. And they play films in original language with subtitles in German and French, as opposed to some cinemas that only play dubbed German films 🙄. Being inside a shopping center means they also have a very convenient parking. The drawback is the fact they only have a very small bar, with only one person to serve all the 5 cinema rooms. It's virtually impossible to buy something in the break. And they don't make Sweet Popcorn, which for me is a big stopper. Other than that, I'm sure I'll be returning, to watch a film I like in the original language on a big screen, since others seem to show only originals in small screens, or not at all...but next time I'll be bringing my own big bucket of...

There are no real bad seats but I would recommend to go in the back. And to book your seats some days in advance to have the option to choose where you want to sit.
There is the a Moviecard that enables you to buy the tickets directly only to a cheaper price. The Cine Sterk AG tries to make it mandatory to pay with this card so you have to charge it all the time. There is a work around, you don't have to load it, just book the film with the card and pay at the counter, you'll still have the same...
Read moreI really enjoy the Trafo cinema. Comfortable seats, nachos and movies in original audio. The one thing most important is that you have to have cash on you for the parking garage! Coins or a 10 Francs bill. For a movie its usually around 3.50 Sfr. Parking fees. You can only use a 20 bill if it's 11 or more which is never the case.
