River Residence — Hotel in Baden

The phrase “Home away from home” might be a cliché and widely used but this could not be more true when staying at the River Residence. We would definitely recommend River Residence for business, family or leisure travel as you walk away refreshed and inspired!||||Our family of four, which included two medium sized dogs, called the River Residence our home for two months after relocating from South Africa. Marco and his trusty team runs a tight ship and it clearly shows in the professional, friendly and sincere manner in which all guests are treated. Marco did not think twice to accommodate our dogs, which are more like children to us and we all settled in within the first day!||||Renate and her crew ensures that the apartments are cleaned weekly which includes a fresh set of towels and bedlinen. The communal laundry room was so well equipped that this chore seemed more like a pleasure. The apartments have everything you need to cook a hearty meal or just warm up some ready made meals. The Dulce Gusto coffee machine is a bonus as we are huge coffee drinkers. ||||The location of the River Residence is great as you are within a very short walk of the Baden main train and bus station. Here you will find a vast selection of grocery stores and other shops to fulfil all your needs. The station is also in the heart of Baden where you will find all major banks, mobile network providers and various clothing and fast food shops.||||The views from the River Residence are just breathtaking and walking around the neighbourhood, interacting with the locals just makes you appreciate true Swiss hospitality even more.||||We will be back!||||Lino and Yolandi Jardim ||15Jan2021...

My time with River residence apartments was Fantastic. I recently moved to Switzerland and this was the perfect place for me to stay as I searched for more permanent accommodation. Situated directly on the river Limmat, the area was very peaceful and scenic with only a short stroll to an elevator which would take you right into the town centre of Baden.

Marco was above and beyond in terms of flexibility and support during these crazy Covid times, contacting me through WhatsApp before and through my stay to ensure my flights arrived smoothly and I was aware of local supermarkets with online delivery for isolation (Luckily not required due to rule changes) and if there was anything I needed in the apartment itself.

The apartment was clean, well maintained and had everything I needed to self cater. Furthermore top quality TV/apple tv devices allowed me to feel at home. My only criticism would be the Lounge furniture could be slightly more comfortable and better pillows in the bedroom but small flaws in the big picture.

Renate, the apartment manager was fantastic also, Incredibly friendly, reactive and ensured my stay was as comfortable and smooth as possible. I very much appreciated her during my stay.

All in all, I would highly recommend River Residence to anyone, especially those looking for a longer stay as it will fulfill all needs as well as allow you to enjoy the Beautiful town of Baden and surrounding River.
