Grand Casino Baden — Attraction in Baden

So we had a CHF 200 coupon for the restaurant. What can I say, we ate for free but still were frustrated when we went out...

First positive aspect: the terrace is nice and kids can then go play in the park.

Second one: meat was good

Then the rest...

Waitress was at the limit from politeness. She was probably not happy to work there or it's here character but sorry, for this kind of price I expect to be treated with elegant behavior.

Then I took the CHF 100 menu ("Asado a discretion") and my wife a burger. Waitress didn't ask how much we want the meat to be cooked so the meat was half cooked inside.

Then everything is so full of fat, oh my god! Bread with melted cheese and mayonnaise, I couldn't eat it. Sauce for the meat was so greasy also.

And for CHF 100, I had all the meat which I can eat, OK it's kind of nice but still feels strange when everyone is speaking about global warming. And for CHF 100 I had some grilled carrots, the most expensive and delicate vegetable you can find ;) And a nice red grilled pepper which was good.

I had a dessert in the menu. I don't know if they wanted to make a "catalan cream" but it was looking like some snot, which was still tasking kind of OK.

So to summarize, kind of disappointing for this price, better go to Burger King, I don't feel frustrated there because I don't expect some style and...

There were 5 of us in the group. We all wanted to drink cocktails or some other drink. A lady who worked there, welcomed us very arrogantly ( without smile) and said that we cannot drink on that terrace, we can only eat. And she said that we can have a drink on the other terrace. That second terrace is about 100 m away, in the middle of the park, and is not part of the Baden Casino terrace. The lady was very unprofessional. She behaved the same way with the guests in front of us, who also wanted to drink. Since when do you discriminate guests who want to have just a drink? That doesn't exist anywhere, not even in more expensive and luxurious restaurants! Shame, never again in the Casino...

Ich schreibe diese Rezension mit grosser Enttäuschung und Wut. Innerhalb eines Monats konnte ich in mehreren Schweizer Online-Casinos über 120'000 Franken an Gewinnen erzielen. Das ist eine absurde Argumentation, wenn man bedenkt, dass ich mit hohen Gewinnen spiele, nicht mit Schulden. Auf meinen Antrag zur Aufhebung wurde nicht ernsthaft eingegangen – man liess mich einfach abblitzen. Keine Prüfung, keine differenzierte Einschätzung, keine Transparenz.

Für mich ist das ein klarer Fall von systematischer Ausgrenzung erfolgreicher Spieler. Es drängt sich geradezu der Verdacht auf, dass man sich hier intern oder gar mit anderen Casinos abspricht, sobald jemand „zu viel“ gewinnt. Anstatt Verantwortung und Fairness zu zeigen, wird man eiskalt aussortiert, sobald man für das System unbequem wird. Das hat mit Spielerschutz nichts mehr zu tun – das ist in meinen Augen reine Willkür.
