I had an incredible one-day safari to Mikumi National Park from Dar es Salaam! The journey started early in the morning with a comfortable drive through scenic landscapes and rural villages. Upon arrival at the park, we were warmly welcomed by our experienced guide, who made sure we had the best game drive experience.

Even though it was just a one-day trip, we saw an amazing variety of wildlife—elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and even a pride of lions resting under the trees. The highlight of the day was spotting a leopard relaxing on a tree branch, a rare and exciting sight!

The Mkata Floodplain was breathtaking, with herds of wildebeests and antelopes roaming freely. The park was less crowded, making it feel like a private safari experience. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, explaining everything about the animals and their habitats.
