Came here expecting just another neighborhood temple 🏯🙏… but Wat Lat Phrao has a surprisingly peaceful and charming vibe that makes it worth a visit! Tucked away from Bangkok’s chaos 🚗💨, this temple offers a quiet escape with beautiful traditional Thai architecture, golden Buddha statues, and a relaxing atmosphere ✨🛕.

One of the highlights? The waterway next to the temple, where you can feed fish 🐟🪷 and just soak in the calm surroundings. It’s also a popular spot for merit-making, Buddhist ceremonies, and even occasional local events 🎉🕯️. Not the most touristy temple, but that’s what makes it great—less crowds, more peaceful moments.

First time I attended festivities at a Buddhist temple and really liked it. I am not a practicing Buddhist myself even though I try to live my life to some of the same principles but one does not need to be of the same religion to have mutual respect for the other person 🙏

There is ample parking but kind and helpful staff to assist. The complex mostly serves the local community so not many visitors other than Thai people going about their usual.
