The Big Market Jomtien — Local services in Pattaya City

There are a lot of vendors here selling various foods and drinks. They offer various choices of local foods and your comfort/familiar food like omellete and tacos here.

There is a mini playground for kids to play here, and the overall decoration here is very colorful and nice to see - very instagrammable if you may say.

It is located across a beach - so you can always buy your snacks here while waiting for the sunset or enjoy their live performance/music as they do have a mini-stage.

I don’t think they accept card payment here (or at least the vendors I went to only accept cash). You may want to bring cash with you here, or make sure to get some at the ATM machine near the entrance.

This is honestly my favorite place in Pattaya! You can enjoy a wide variety of local and international food, and it feels like a compressed, quintessential experience of the city. Everything about it— the music, the atmosphere, the people (especially the noticeable Russian presence), and of course, the food—perfectly captures the essence of Pattaya.

The market has improved significantly since I was last here 5 years ago, and it’s absolutely worth adding to your itinerary if you’re in the area.

If you're coming from Pattaya, the big night market is the last of three night markets on Jomtien Beach Road. Because it's low season, there weren't many guests. It's also the smallest of the three night markets. You can take an open taxi near walking to the last stop for a very reasonable price, and then you have to walk about 10 minutes along the beach. Unfortunately, about half of the stalls were closed. Whether that's because it's low season or because it's so remote, I don't know.
