Lotus's Phatthanakarn — Local services in Phatthanakan Subdistrict

Although within middle of Bangkok's crowded, lower middle to middle income group dominated area, Pattanakarn, Tesco Lotus doesn't provide too many options for this group. Inspite of having a huge build up area, large empty space all around with long drive ways, seems like they are unwilling to use them for some strange reason. Say it cheaper makeshift shops such as clothing, fashion, household etc, something like food carnival or Mega sale festival - nothing of this sort happens there ( ...and i have been going there for 4 years now. ) Even someone who can afford a 459 t-shirt rather than a 159 one, not too many choices are provided for them as well. Not sure, who is there target market and what's revenue source is making them so easily satisfied.....but i can surely tell one thing about This Tesco outlet - It's Not that Exciting. Otherwise it is easily be termed as a Semi-reliable source for very busy People who may not think too much about options and could be easy on pricing.

Cleanliness is on point though. Security is excellent. Food options are not that bad. Food court, again , not huge, but food tastes good. Parking facilities are huge and often under utilized.

Overall i can say, it's an average performer when it comes to shopping. Be it household or electronics. It can easily be a great place of meet, shopping or dining... untill then, better we stick to our regular household shopping without expecting too many surprises! i give...

Here​ for​ veggies.​ They​ got​ royal​ project​ fruits and​ vegs.​ Organic​ vegs.​ Regular​ vegs.​ And, local​ vegs​ and​ herbs.​ Great​ price​ for​ seasonal fruits​ and, sometimes, imported fruits.

I​ like​ buying household cleaning and​Personal​ Care​ product​s​ here.​ If​ you​ can.keep​ up​ with​ the​ promotions, you'll​ get​ the​ cheapest price​ here.

Price​ is​ good.​ But​ varieties​ are​ less than​ Gourmet​ Market​ and​ Tops.

They've just​ release their own​ vegan​ Meat​ called​ something.like Meat​ Zero.​ Available​ in​ frozen​ food​ Area.

Lots​ of​ Parking​ space.

Got​ Cockpit​ car​ Service,​ KFC, Amazon Coffee, Naiin​ Book​ Store, Thai​ Herbal Personal​ Care​...

Didn't have what we needed but that's o.k. We found what we needed at another Tesco Lotus. The problem with this Phatthanakan location is it's far too far from the street and there are no taxis at the back of the large parking lot where this Tesco Lotus is located. You can always get dropped off by taxis here; there just are none for pick ups. So you have to walk a ways to Phatthanakan Rd. to flag one down. This only works if you don't have too much to carry. So we'll only shop here on very rare occasions if we need one or two...
