Tinidee Hot Springs — Local services in Ranong Province

The price is right, and Thai/farang are charged the same. Entry comes with a towel, and they have lockers you can use (you would need to bring or maybe rent a padlock). It's small- a few sitting areas and a few pools, but it's centrally located right next to the beautiful river, and the variance in pool temp is nice. The coolest one is like a Luke warm bath, good for the kids. The hottest one takes a second to get into and not one you should spend a long period of time in without cooling off. The showers are nice and cold and very refreshing after the sizzle. It's uniquely NOT sulphuric, so it doesn't smell and I didn't notice any jewelry change colors. Nice restaurants nearby you can watch over to after. They don't want kids splashing around and being loud- it's meant to be relaxing, so keep an eye on the little ones :) there's conveniently an outdoor public playground right...

Basic is Beautiful. And that's what you get here. No frills. Nothing but a great location next to the river, various temperature baths (some too hot for us), plus a towel and locker - all for 40 baht. Incredible value. Makes the expensive Spa across the road looked way over-priced. We only stayed in Ranong one night but visited here twice. But would like to go back because they were updating the whole site when we were there - so it probably more modern now than these photos show....

Bloody marvellous experience, soak all your cares away in the hot (45°C or more if you ask the nice lady) spring water, refresh in the cool pool. Have a healthy ginger, honey and lemon drink poolside, or maybe a fresh OJ. Lovely spot by the river, provided with towels, just bring your trunks...
