Visited Phra Pothisat Guan Yin in Hatyai (合艾观世音菩萨) and it was such a beautiful and calming experience. This place is definitely worth a visit if you are looking for somewhere peaceful and spiritual during your trip.

The staff at the site were very friendly and helpful. They greeted us politely and were happy to give directions and explain a bit about the place. Even though it’s not a large tourist attraction, their warm attitude made the visit feel very welcoming.

The environment is incredibly peaceful and calm. As soon as you arrive, you can feel the change in atmosphere — it’s quiet, serene, and perfect for taking a moment to slow down and reflect. The statue of Guan Yin (the Goddess of Mercy) (观世音菩萨)is truly beautiful and inspiring. It is well-maintained and sits in a lovely spot surrounded by greenery.

One of the highlights of visiting Phra Pothisat Guan Yin is the view. From here, you get a nice panoramic view of Hatyai city. It’s a great spot for taking photos, whether you’re there during the day or near sunset when the light is softer and the scenery looks even more stunning.

Although there is no entrance fee, donations are welcome to help maintain the site. There are also areas where you can light incense or pray quietly, which adds to the spiritual atmosphere.
