Read moreHello, my name is Jane C. I visited this amazing gallery and really enjoyed the demonstration of plate making. I ordered 2 plates from you on 29 October 2022. The contents were packed and sent via Express Worldwide WPX . DHL in Australia used another company called Phenix to deliver my plates. They delivered them to an incorrect address, a unit block of 10 apartments! I had my address clearly on the box and this company delivered my plates worth thousands and left the box at the bottom of the stairs of a unit block. I was lucky one resident looked up my address and called me otherwise my plates were lost forever. I rang DHL and their reply was thank you for your feedback?? I thought the company at Kapadokya Seramik should be informed about the poor delivery of my goods. I am happy with the plates however the plastic holders were very flimsy and cheap! I would not risk my plates on them. This was a little disappointing....
Read moreI visited this pottery shop as part of a guided tour. The owner greeted us and explained the pottery-making process, which was interesting at first. However, once we said we’d just look around, he kept following us and repeatedly suggested we buy something. It felt uncomfortable and very creepy.
They use a tactic where they seem friendly and offer suggestions, but they keep chasing you around the shop until you feel pressured to buy. Even when we said no, the pressure continued. As we were leaving, the owner became rude, so I ended up buying a random piece just to avoid further tension. It cost $100, and later I found out that my friend bought the exact same piece in Cappadocia for only $20.
It’s disappointing and feels like a scam to pressure tourists into buying overpriced items. Please be careful of their tricks and don’t feel forced to purchase anything...
