Han — Restaurant in Avanos

This restaurant is designed to accommodate large number of tourists at a time. Like our tour group, there were many other tour groups brought here for lunch by their tour guides in big buses, there is plenty of space to park those big buses. The food is already cooked and arranged on the tables to be served by ourselves in a buffet. The tables are booked by their agents for different tour groups. Well, it is a place to just have your lunch in 30 minutes allowed by your guide. If you lose your opportunity to have your lunch here, you are the only loser since it is included in your tour cost and you will be with your tour group till evening and you will have to wait in hunger till dinner.The food here is cold and tasteless, the only solace is the derests and fresh cut fruits and some greens...

We were taken to this place for lunch during our tour of Cappadocia. The restaurant offers a buffet with quite a number of items. Loved their salad and dessert section. The main course items were just okay.

The ambience is clean, bright with an ample amount of sunlight coming in. The toilets were clean too. Though it was crowded with tourists, we didn't have to be in a queue for long as the buffet area is big. One can order beverages ( alocoholi & non- alcoholic) too ( At an extra cost).

My recommendation is, don't eat here. Find another place or order takeout if you went with a travel agency and don't have transportation to go elsewhere. There's little variety of food, the food is tasteless, of everything I ate the only acceptable thing was the pasta, the desserts are weak and flavorless. Be very careful with the chicken, mine was practically raw inside. Luckily, I always like to check before eating and when I cut the chicken I saw it was undercooked, almost raw. I paid 400 TL.
