Nice and affordable hamam. Cash only. Transportation available. We went with 2 adults and 2 kids. They were very kind to the kids too. We could use the pool area of the hotel next door if we had to wait. Very nice. Only 1 comment. Agree on the price upfront. In the valuta you want to pay. We went more than once, and we had to pay different every time.

Disgusting, Unsafe, and Exploitative – Avoid This Place Completely

We paid £70 for two “programmes” at Dalyan Sahin Turkish Bath and Sauna, which were advertised to include a hamam with foam and bubble wash, sauna, 30-minute massage, face mask, and hard skin foot exfoliation. The original price was £60, but we were charged an extra £5 each for the foot treatment. Neither the foot exfoliation nor the face mask were ever provided.

From the moment we walked in, the focus was on grabbing our money, not delivering the service. Payment was demanded immediately. What followed was the most unprofessional, sleazy, and uncomfortable experience I have ever had in Turkey.

The so-called “foam and bubble wash” was being done by two overweight, greasy, hairy men who acted inappropriately with customers – slapping them hard while scrubbing and laughing like it was a joke. They wore towels with nothing underneath, and after each customer they would sneak to a corner shower, strip naked, and wash themselves. This is not a relaxing, authentic hamam experience – it is deeply inappropriate, especially for women or families.

I specifically and repeatedly requested that both my wife and I be washed and scrubbed by a woman. This was met with anger and resistance. The woman, who usually only gives back massages, was visibly annoyed, repeatedly mentioning money and tips, and only agreed after the manager failed to convince me to be scrubbed by one of those vile men. The manager himself reacted with obvious irritation when I refused.

When it was my turn, the woman cursed at me in Thai under her breath. When I confronted her, she dodged the subject entirely. This alone shows how little respect they have for paying customers.

To make matters worse, I was shocked to discover that this woman is clearly living in exploitative conditions – her “living quarters” were a tiny, claustrophobic room with a single bed, situated right next to the massage area, and she appeared to be living out of a suitcase. The fact that customers are being massaged in a room adjacent to where a worker is essentially living is disturbing and raises serious concerns about hygiene, professionalism, and the wellbeing of the staff.

This business is a disgrace to the tradition of Turkish baths. Having experienced professional hamams elsewhere in Turkey, I can say without hesitation that this was nothing but a tourist scam run with zero standards and zero respect.

FINAL WARNING: If you value your comfort, safety, or dignity, do not go here. Women, children, and anyone seeking a genuine, relaxing experience should avoid this place entirely. I left feeling more uncomfortable and dirty than...

We have been using these baths for many years. We have always received a friendly and professional service. They also like to make the experience for the foam scrub and soap massage fun and relaxed. I have read many of the reviews and find some of the comments very derogatory of the establishment. This it not a high end state of the art business, but a family run traditional baths, with a slant towards the tourist customer. The new owners took over last year, we went in May and were warmly welcomed and had a great scrub down and massage, Turkish Cay afterwards, severed...
